McKesson Update and Customer Letter Regarding COVID-19 (May 2020)

CCPA Purchsasing Partners (CCPAPP) and McKesson would like to provide the latest update as it relates to McKesson's response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Although McKesson has found new sources of PPE, including through their partnership with Walmart, the demand for these items is still significantly higher than the supply. We encourage our members to view the various resources that McKesson has gathered on their regularly-updated COVID-19 microsite, including the CDC's guidance on how to extend the life of your current PPE.

Additionally, McKesson advises all healthcare providers to watch out for scams relating to COVID-19, especially those in regards to purchasing PPE. Anyone who has encountered a scam or has suspicion of a scam may report the details to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Inspector General.
