Who Should Attend
Physicians with administrative responsibilities for their practice should attend this conference to learn strategies for better managing the practice. Practice managers/administrators are also encouraged to attend so that they can work with their physician(s) to implement these changes.
Desired Learning Outcomes
- Develop communication message objectives and deliver messages clearly and more effectively, aligning voice and body language, to influence others in a positive manner.
- Become empowered to make an informed decision regarding the selling of a medical practice to a hospital; understand the advantages of remaining independent and the pitfalls of selling.
- Implement simple strategies for how to avoid common mistakes made while managing a medical practice, how to recover from future mistakes, and how to improve the overall business operations of a practice.
